Burger Day Facts:
  • About 900 pounds of meat is used between the Big Burger and the burger booth
  • Over 550 pounds of onions are peeled and sliced by volunteers
  • The Big Burger bun weighs over 350 pounds
  • Over 3500 burgers are cooked in about 7 hours in the burger booth
  • The Big Bun is cooked in a "one of a kind" 12' by 12' convection oven
  • An average of 2,300 volunteer hours are logged beginning in January
  • Average attendance on Burger Day is about 25,000 people
