Hollow
The rock band Hollow originally formed in March of 2004 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma and has been known to frequent both Christian and mainstream
venues in the Oklahoma City area, as well as Kansas and Texas.

Hollow is Alana (vocals) and Will Warfel (bass guitar), Alana’s brother Jordan
Carris (lead guitar) and his wife Katy (vocals), and their friend E.J. Hayes
(drums). The band’s family ties and Christian foundation from a young age have
allowed them the opportunity to sing together for most of their lives. Each
member of Hollow has extensive experience in music ministry, whether it is
locally, nationally, or internationally.

Hollow writes and performs original music, and combines a unique blend of vocal
harmonies with rock accompaniment.

The name Hollow echoes God’s calling for His followers to rid themselves of
anything of this world and to fill themselves with the Spirit and mind of Christ. The
members of Hollow have made this their mission.

Hollow has had the opportunity to play with several notable artists, including:
Bon Jovi, Project 86, Spoken, Family Force 5, Disciple, Jessie Daniels and
Flatfoot 56 among others. More information about Hollow can be found at
www.myspace.com/hollowrock.

During the summer of 2007, was the national winner of the “Artist (Band) of the
Year” at the Gospel Music Association’s “Music in the Rockies” seminar held in
Estes Park, Colorado. More information about the event can be found at
www.gospelmusic.org.

In March of 2008, Hollow won the Oklahoma Heritage Association’s Teen Board
“Battle of the Bands.”
